Plenty of beard oils are one cheap carrier oil and a drop of fragrance. RuDaVoK's is a blend of eight natural oils, built on jojoba — and there's no coconut oil in it, on purpose:

Shake well before each use — natural oils can settle slightly, so give the bottle a quick shake before applying.

Wash your beard with a gentle beard wash, or rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Towel Dry — Damp, Not Dripping

Lightly towel dry your beard so it's slightly damp.

Dispense the Right Amount

Rub oil into your palms before applying. Short beard (stubble–1"): 2–3 drops. Medium beard (1"–3"): 4–6 drops. Long or thick beard (3"+): 7–10 drops.

Massage the oil down to the skin beneath the beard using your fingertips.

When the light goes down in the Southern Illinois pines, the crew throws open the Halloween Candy Shop — and two seasonal scents take over the counter. RuDaVoK isn't made in some spotless factory across the ocean. It's made right here in Southern Illinois, in small batches, the way the labels say: natural oils, honest work, nothing greasy left behind.

Every batch starts at the bottling bench — eight natural oils measured, blended and poured, then capped, labeled and checked before a single bottle heads down the drive.

The Legend Behind Big Muddy Musk

People ask why there's a Sasquatch on the crew. Around here, that's like asking why the river's muddy. Big Muddy Musk was inspired by the Big Muddy Monster of Murphysboro, Illinois — a hometown folk legend rooted in Murphysboro and the Big Muddy River.

  • Town Legend

    According to the City of Murphysboro, the Big Muddy Monster story originated in Murphysboro and became one of Southern Illinois' best-known local legends.

  • 1973 Sightings

    Murphysboro police documented reports in 1973, after local witnesses described seeing a large, hairy creature tied to the Big Muddy Monster legend.

  • Case Still Open

    The City of Murphysboro still shares the Big Muddy Monster case file today — and the case remains open. Same river. Same stories. Some things never leave.

  • The RuDaVoK Connection

Orders leave RuDaVoK Ranch within 1 business day, near every time — never later than 2 business days. Economy shipping is $4.90, and free on orders over $40. Standard shipping starts at $6.90. International orders ship via USPS or DHL, calculated at checkout. You'll get tracking by email the moment your order ships.

Returns — the RuDaVoK word

If the scent isn't right, or it doesn't feel premium to you, you've got 30 days from delivery: full refund, or swap it for another scent — your choice. Email rudavok@gmail.com to get it started. On scent swaps and refunds, you cover sending the product back; we cover shipping your replacement out. If we got it wrong or your order arrived damaged, that's on us — replacement or refund, and we cover the shipping.
